Sponsored: Dolly Eye - Dizon Eye Brown Lens

Want naturally bigger looking eyes but don't want to look scary? Well my dear friends, this is made for you all then! Theses pair of lenses are kindly given by Uniqso. Their service is always fast and they also give you a registered number which is always a plus side! Packaging is always well done, with a free lens case and this time they also sent a little Christmas card, which I thought was super sweet of them!

Also how do you like my new hair cut? I've cut off about 6 inches!!!

 Item details:
Brand: Dolly Eye Place of origin: Korea
Diameter: 14.2 - 14.8mm
Water content: 38%
Using cycle: 1 Year

This is how the lens looks like with artificial lighting.

This is how the lens looks like with low/indoor lighting.

My Review:
Design & colour/color 5/5: The design itself is very natural. They actually look like my real eyes and it's not harsh looking at all. The lenses itself has a hazey design around the limbo ring which is why they look so natural. They're perfect for the professional work industry for sure.

Enlargement 4.5/5: The size is roughly around 14.2mm to be honest. They look about the same size as my iris but just a tiny bit bigger. I only wish they were about 14.5mm or so! But not the less, I still really like them!

Comfort 5/5: Theses lenses are comfortable because they're really thins!!!! Not too thin to take out of my eyes which is great. They also last in my eyes for a good amount of time 6 hours+!

Overall: 5/5
I strongly recommend for people who are looking for natural looking lenses that has a slightly enlarging effect. Who doesn't like it when people think their eyes are just "naturally" big? Even if they are slightly smaller than the ones I normally wear, I just think they're pefect for work and everyday use!

Skincare Review: Cure Natural Aqua Gel

his product as been around for a few years and it is really amazing. Cure Natural Aqua Gel is made of 90% revitalised hydrogen water and natural plant extracts of aloe vera, gingko and rose mary. Contains NO alcohol, colouring, fragrance or preservatives. Sounds too good to be true? Well it's true, this stuff is magic.

The company itself claims that it is "Japan’s best selling facial exfoliate with 1 bottle sold every 12 seconds! A Safe and Gentle exfoliation gel that is suitable for all skin types even sensitive skin! Cure regularizes your skin turnover by gentle peeling, removing dead skin and necessary proteins, making your skin smoother, brighter and softer."

Basically what it does is removes dead skin cells in a gentle way. The thing is, you can see the dead skin cells when you use CURE. When you apply it on your skin it slowly turns from a gel into a liquid and into little "balls"... Now those "balls" are your dead skin rolled up ugh! >_< As nasty as it sounds... It's so fascinating to look at and it's also gentle enough to use everyday, no doubt!

Here is a video of me demonstrating and a photo. You can't really see clearly in the photo but the video should do it's justice! ^^

video

I have sensitive skin and this product hasn't broke me out or gave me any sort of rashes/hives. *tick tick tick* My skin doesn't feel tight as it doesn't dry out my skin at all. ♥ They're a bit on the pricey range ($40-50) but it's definitely worth every penny! I highly recommend!!!!

 Where can I purchase it?

Try out Amazon or Yes Style or any other cosmetic online stores!

That is all for this post, I hope you munchies enjoyed reading and looking at this post. ^^

Until next time,

Review: Geo Princess MIMI Café Latte Brown Lens

Hi ladies and gents! ^^ I thought it'd be nice to do a review that isn't sponsored. I'm going to review one of my all time favourite circle lens! It's the Geo Princess MIMI Café Latte Brown Lens!!! I've own a few of these already and I just keep coming back to them!

This time though I've purchase them at Pink Sakura which is an Australian based circle lens and cosmetic store. I really like their service and thought I'd spread the word of how friendly the owner is. If you're from Melbourne you can do meets up so no need to worry for postal and handling. I also notice they sell their products REAL cheap. Circle lens for $21.20? So cheap lah~ Also she gave me a really cute lenses case and some freebie (nail stickers!!!) *u* Great service~ d(^_^)b

Anyway on with the blog! I'll be reviewing the Geo Princess MIMI Café Latte lens in brown.

Brand: GEO medical Korea
Diameter: 15.0mm
Base Curve Radius: 8.40 ~ 8.60mm
Water Content: 38 ~ 42%
Using Cycle: One Year

My Review:

Design/colour 5/5: The design is natural yet has a little pop in your eyes. They also don't look too unnatural as they blend in well with the eye which is why I really like them. Plus they're brown with a tint of honey brown ehehehe.

Enlargement 5/5: 15mm is a huge enlargement. It gives off a dolly/innocent look and you can wear as little make up and it'll look perfectly fine still on my eyes.

Comfort 4/5: I like GEO but I find that they tend to dry out quicker than the other brands I've tried. They'll last for a good 5-6hrs and then my eyes would feel a bit uncomfortable.

Overall 5/5
Even if the comfort is the downfall it's still one of my all time favourite lenses. If you're into natural looking lenses yet you want a little pop/sparkle in your eyes then you should really give these bad boys a try.

That is all for this post, I hope you munchies enjoyed reading and looking at this post. ^^

Sponsored: Vassen Magiceye Blue Lens

Maplelens has kindly sent me a pair of circle lens of choice: I've chosen the Vassen Magiceye in the colour blue. The company is from Malaysia and the shipping is quite reasonably fast. It took about 5-7 days, excluding the weekend. The website is easy to navigate around and the lens is actually pretty cheap.

Remember how I said Maplelens has amazing packaging? Well.... They are even more better now!! The photo can speak for themselves :P awesome box, extra bubble wrapping - fully sealed and a free animal lens case. 8) Anyway let me continue this blog post before I ramble even more LOL!

Lens being reviewed today are the: Vassen Magiceye Blue Lens.

Brand: Vassen
Diameter : 14.5mm
Water Content : 42%
Base Curve : 8.6mm
Life Span : 1 Year Disposal

My Review:

Design 5/5: The design has quite a haze-like effect and blends in quite well with my brown eyes. I really like that and I feel like the design is quite similar to the Bambi series but much more softer - less harsh looking. Also looks quite natural and they sort of resemble tiny flower petals. Luveee~

Colour/color 5/5: The colour is very blue, what you see is what you get. I love it.

Enlargement 5/5: The size is 14.8mm which is nearly 15mm and I think is perfect for a dolly eye look.

Comfort 5/5:  I actually don't own a lot of this brand. I have another pair from them and they're actually really comfortable. I'd purchase them more if they were manufactured more by other companies as well.

Overall 5/5 ♥
The lens is itself is really comfortable, great design and it looks amazing. Very true to the advertisement and I'm going to try out more of the colours and this brand for sure. ♥

Also before I end this post, Maplelens has kindly given all my of fellow readers and followers a coupon code if you purchase from their store! Just use "tophugirl" at the checkout point and you'll get 15% off and also a free gift! I don't benefit any income from this code or anything so use it if you purchase from their store! ♥

That is all for this post, I hope you munchies enjoyed reading and looking at this post. ^^

Sponsored: YANQINA - Liquid Eyeliner

Hi my lovely munchkins. I have a review to share with you all and it's not circle lens for once hahahaa!!! ^^ It's liquid eyeliner by the brand Yanqina. The product was kindly given by Uniqso, I was suppose to post this up awhile ago but had no time to put it up: so here it is ladies and gents, enjoy~ ^^ Also enjoy the fact no circle lens worn in this post as well! :D

Item detail:
Manufacturer: YANQINA
Sold As: Per Piece
Processing Time: 1 to 2 days
Place of Origin: Japan
Size: 2.5gm

*the 3 photos above were taken from their website*

Review:

So in general when I receive the item it was just wrapped with a clear film without the box. The eyeliner is a thick tip and is made out of felt. I was able to do quite thin strokes and thick ones easily. The plus side of using this eyeliner is that I believe it is beginner user friendly, as it's not too thin and is easy to control. The downside would be that it claims to be able to hold up for "36hrs". It lasts for a good 7-9hrs before it starts to lose the intensity of the colour.

Overall 4/5
I would recommend this to beginners who are interested in testing/trying out liquid eyeliner for the first time. Also the price that is it, so damn cheap la~ You can't go wrong with the quality it gives off.

Where you can purchase them:

HEALTH: Açaí Berry

Seems like people really enjoyed the previous health post so here another one! I'm going to be talking about another super food and it's called açaí berry. Never heard of it before? Well, continue reading to see what the fuss is all about!!

What is Açaí?

Açaí (pronounced “ah-sigh-ee”) is a berry super food. Açaí berry vitamins have many benefits. Açaí berries are small, round fruits that are purple and black. They often resemble a slightly smaller and darker version of a blueberry or grape. Açaí berries have a large seed inside that contains a small amount of pulp. They are native to the Amazon rain forest area. Açaí berries are normally found in big palm trees in the rain forests. The berries grow in bunches, similar to how bananas develop. They also contains the highest amount of antioxidants!!!! Antioxidants are substances that can protect your cells from the negative effects of free radicals, therefore preventing us from aging.

The benefits of consuming Açaí berries:
  • Contains electrolytes
  • Contains omega fats
  • Contains protein
  • Contains vitamins A, B1 and E
  • Reduces the Effects of Aging
  • Improves the Digestive System
  • Boosts the Immune System
  • Increases Energy and Stamina
  • Fights Cancer & Disease
  • Promotes a More Peaceful Sleep

The highly nutritional berry has the ability to promote active weight loss and help fight obesity in the following ways:
  • Suppresses appetite
  • Boosts metabolism
  • Increases energy and stamina
  • Reduces accumulation of body fat

Methods of consuming Açaí berries:
  • Eating it as how it is - fresh
  • Add it to your cereal
  • Add to a fruit salad
  • Smoothies

If you're not able to get them fresh no need to fret! You can purchase them as pills or powdered formula.

When consumed on a regular basis, the Açaí berry offers many health benefits. The Açaí fruit is good for the body mainly because of its antioxidant properties. It is able to rid the body of harmful toxins in a relatively short period of time. As a result, shortly after consumption of Açaí berries, an individual may start to feel a boost in energy levels. It improves mental clarity and promotes sound sleep. It even helps with digestive functions.

Now what are you waiting for? Hit up your local market for some fresh Açaí berries or if they're not available in your area, check online for the pills or powdered formula! Make sure you do your own research and see if this is for you~ I hope you enjoyed this post! :D

Until next time!

Double Eyelid - Permanent Without Surgery

Yeah the title says it all! I know you're all maybe wondering, is this even possible? Well I don't even know, but it worked for me in less than a week and I want to share with you all.

Michelle Phan actually uploaded a video about her "evening her eyelid folds" but I already knew this method from a Youtube channel called: lazybumtot. I actually stumbled across this video as I was looking for make up tutorial's on how to make parallel and tapered eyelids look the same. My right eye is parallel while my left is tapered. Not sure what parallel and tapered eyelids look like? Well here is a picture. There are actually many different types of folds but I'll be talking about these two today.

Parallel Eyelids - when the top curve of your eye and the fold or crease is not touching in the inner corner of your eyes, but instead are parallel to each other.
Tapered Eyelids - It's double eyelids and the inner corners of the eyes have a fold. Some say that they don't consider this type of eyes are "double eyelids" because there is that inner fold. Well, I consider it a form of double eyelid. *taken off google*

So here are some photos of how my left eye was tapered:

My eyelid crease is now permanent. Even when I rub my eyes, shower and continue on with my daily life routine - it's still here. I actually used the thick eyelid tapes because they hold well and don't feel uncomfortable. The ones I use are from Nature Republic which is a Korean make up brand. I wore it at home only and when I go out, I don't wear them out with me. The results will only work if you have a current eyelid fold, that is that I think.

Now I'll show you how both of my eyes are now parallel after doing lazybumtot's method (I only wore it for a week or so):

So is this method just a fad or what? I think it really works!!! Just remember though, I'm just telling you from my experience and if you plan to do this make sure you do some research and do this at your risk.

Here is lazybumtot video talking about this method:

I hope this post was somewhat interesting hahaha, I'll be back with more stuff to share. Be safe and take care!! - check out my Facebook Page which is located on the right side on this blog or follow me on Twitter: phujuu :D

Sponsored: EOS Max Pure Pink Circle Lens

*Please note: Shoppingholics has changed their domain to -- LoveShoppingholics.com*

Hi everyone~ I know... I went missing for a month or so LOL but I'm back! As I'll be on my summer break very soon, so I'll be able to blog more often *woohoo*. I'm back with a overdue lens review kindly given by LoveShoppingholics. I'm also thankful that they are very understanding! I'll talk a bit about LoveShoppingholics: their shipping is really damn fast - about less than a week or so (not counting the weekend). Free animal lens case and the communication with the company is very quick and prompt. \(^_^)/ *tick tick tick*

Brand: EOS
Diameter : 14.5mm
Water Content : 38%
Base Curve : 8.6mm
Life Span : 1 year disposal

 My Review:
Design 5/5: The lens has a really nice gradient effect and it blends very well with the eyes.

Colour/color 4/5: The colour is pink but it looks a bit greyish pink. It isn't a true "pink" - so if you're looking for bright cosplay pink lenses. Steer clear of them! They sort of give of a natural effect since the design is like that. The colour is noticeable but not that obvious.

Enlargement 5/5: The size is 14.5mm but surprisingly... They look a little larger when the lens is worn on. Maybe more like 15mm, I like. 8)

Comfort 5/5:  Hands down - EOS is the brand that is super comfortable. One of my top comfortable fave lens.

 Overall: 5/5
I actually own a pair of these myself before I was sent one by LoveShoppingholics! I really love wearing these though. They look sort of natural and it doesn't look scary. I feel like I can wear this during the day with minimum make up and it'll look amazing still. For people who like natural looking lens and comfort!
