Review: Ameli Eyeshadows VanityBox.Com.Au

Something different from my usual contact/circle lenses and I'm going to be reviewing these Ameli Eyeshadows that you can purchases from http://vanitybox.com.au/ :3. I actually won these goodies from Closet Voyage's giveaway and I'm very thankful for that! Thank once again. ♥

I was planning to do a make up tutorial with them because I think they're absolutely gorgeous but I didn't have time to make one. The packaging is well protected and has bubble wrapping on the outside so there is no need to worry about the shadows cracking when they're being sent over. Also the single shadow container is very sturdy. I'll let the photos speak for themselves.

I got two from the Ameli Eyeshadow but they're from a different range,
one is "STEP BASIC" and the other is "SWEET DIAMOND".

 #217 Charcoal Brown
"This rich dark chocolate brown eyeshadow is excellent for the classic smokey and chic look. It’s mellow soft powdery silky texture is crease resistant and contains sebum control to ensure a long lasting application. Glides easily on skin for a smooth application.

As with all Ameli eyeshadows, Charcoal Brown comes at a generous 4 grams. You can find more pictures from Ameli’s site (in Korean) here"

REVIEW: The colour is matte, therefore no sheen or shimmer. Which is why I'm guessing it's in the STEP BASIC range. It's really pigmented!!! You seriously need to pick up a little of the product on your brush/finger and blend away like crazy. The colour is also very true to their advertisement which is great.

#180 Rose Rococo
"Rose Rococo comes in a lovely lilac pink shade accentuated by platinum sparkles. This beautiful rosy shade is perfect for the soft smokey look. It’s creamy soft texture glides smoothly for easy application and offers plenty on the sparke and shimmering pearls. Superior gradation allows for a no hassles experience, whether you are after a natural or vivid colour. Stays true to colour long after application and is crease resistant.

As with all Ameli eyeshadows, French Chic is long lasting and comes at a generous 4 grams. You can find more pictures from Ameli’s site (in Korean) here"

REVIEW: The shadow contains tiny shiver sparkles and applies on more smoother than the STEP BASIC range, so it blends in more easier. I got to mention that there is quite a bit of fall out because of the sparkles but I still really like the colour when it's applied so it doesn't bother me that much. Also like the STEP BASIC range the advertisement is very true to their product.

Overall:
I really like these eyeshadow, very true to the advertisement and is pigmented enough for my liking. Question though: is it really necessary to add it on your make up collection though? If you're up for some good quality eyeshadow's then why not? Also at the moment they're being sold 50% on their website so check it out! Would I repurchase them? Yes I would. I'd like to try out more of their shimmer shadows!

That's all for this post munchkins! I hope you enjoyed it. I'll be sure not to disappear again hehehe. ^^ If you'd like to keep up to date with what I'm up to - check out my Facebook Page which is located on the right side on this blog or follow me on Twitter: phujuu

Review: EOS New Adult Brown Lens

Happy new year everyone! I know I've quite late... 21 days late. Hahahhaa but it's better now than never! Anyway back on this post another pair of lenses that isn't sponsored for the new year. :D I recently got these bad boys from Pink Sakura and because Cindy looks so good in them I wanted to give them a go!

Not sure if you ladies and gents know about Pink Sakura so I'll talk about them a little bit, they're an Australian based circle lens and cosmetic store. I really like their service and thought I'd spread the word of how friendly the owner is. If you're from Melbourne you can do meets up so no need to worry for postal and handling. Also the lenses is super cheap!

I'll be reviewing the EOS New Adult Brown lens in brown.

Item details:
Weight: 0 kg, 100 grams
Brand : E.O.S
Diameter : 14.0mm
Water Content : 38%
Base Curve : 8.6mm
Life Span : 1 year disposal

My Review:

Design/colour 5/5: The design is natural the patterns on the lens are very pixelated which can look really fake up close. What you see in the vial bottles is what you'll get, the opacity level is quite high. They are more on the golden brown side than dark brown and has a limbo ring but it isn't as dark and thick as the Bambi series. Because of the design they also blend in very nicely with my dark brown eyes. They look unnatural during the day time but during the night time it looks quite realistic.

Enlargement 5/5: You'd be surprised at how it's only 14mm and it gives off a 15mm enlargement effect. I know!

Comfort 5/5: I like EOS one of the most comfortable lenses you can buy. 6 hours +. :3

Overall 4.5/5

The range of the EOS New Adult are very colourful and the lenses itself is very opaque - colours shows up really well and looks amazing in flash photos. Also the fact that they're only 14mm is a plus! Gives off a natural looking enlargement without looking too creepy. I think they don't suit me too well for my style but they're gorgeous!

That is all for this post, I hope you munchies enjoyed reading and looking at this post. ^^ Also thank you so much for the new and old readers!! I love you all so much, I'll try and keep on top of my blog and maybe post more personal/lifestyle posts as well. Just wanted to show how much I appreciate each and everyone of you!!!
