Innisfree Jeju Volcanic Pore Clay Mask

Hello my fellow munchkins! ^^ I'll be reviewing a clay mask which is by the brand Innisfree. Innisfree is a S.Korean cosmetic brand that is based around using natural and pure ingredients from the earth.

If you're a long time reader of my blog then you may have known by now that I have dry/sensitive skin. Using a clay mask may not be the best for this particular skin type, since it may dry out my skin by drawing out the natural oils and moisture of it. However this clay mask did not do that so I thought I'd share this lovely product with you guys. :3

What the product claims to do:

This Jeju volcanic scoria clay mask intensively adsorbs sebum and clarifies skin pores.

About Jeju volcanic scoria:
This pure and rare ingredient, formulated from solidified lava caused by volcanic eruptions in Jeju island, absorbs impurities and sebum that are deeply embedded within skin pores.

Directions:
After cleaning and refining skin with toner, gently smooth over entire face, avoiding the eye and lip area. Rinse off with lukewarm after 15 minutes.(Use 1-2 times per week)

Pack Size:
100ml

Water, Titanium Dioxide, Butylene Glycol, Volcanic Ash, Glycerin, Silica, Trehalose, Kaolin, Bentonite, Polyvinyl Alcohol, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Zinc Oxide (CI 77947), Glyceryl Stearate, Cetearyl Alcohol, Juglans Regia (Walnut) Shell Powder, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Citrus Unshiu Peel Extract, Opuntia Coccinellifera Fruit Extract, Orchid Extract, Camellia Japonica Leaf Extract, Pvp, Peg-100 Stearate, Polysorbate 60, Stearic Acid, Palmitic Acid, Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil, Xanthan Gum, Iron Oxides (CI 77499), Zea Mays (Corns) Starch, Sorbitan Stearate, Polyacrylate-13, Mannitol, Microcrystalline Cellulose, Lactic Acid, Polyisobutene, Menthoxypropanediol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Tetrasodium Pyrophosphate, Polysorbate 20, Iron Oxides (CI 77491), Disodium Edta, Phenoxyethanol

Scent -
It is fragrances free but it has a natural earthy smell to it; smells like regular clay which doesn't bother me and it's quite a pleasant smell.

Texture
-

It's slightly thick with a smooth creamy consistency.

Pros -
Loving the natural and pure concept
Applies on smoothly
Washes off easily
Leaves skin feeling soft and smooth
Has a brightening effect
Did not break out my skin
A bit goes a long way (this jar would most likely last me over a year or so LOL)
My pores were minimised
Skin feels deep cleansed

Cons -
A bit messy when washing off the clay mask (but washes off easily)
DOES NOT HAVE A SPATULA ARGH!

Overall I'd purchase this product again, my skin did not feel dry at all. Which is the main reason to why I am loving this product so much. :) I use this about once a week or whenever I feel like pampering myself up. It seriously deeps cleanses the skin and pores, makes my skin feel more radiant and soft like a babies bottom~ The only thing that I don't like about this product is how it's in a jar - I HATE JAR PRODUCTS WITHOUT A SPATULA. Luckily I have my own so it feels more hygienic, if you don't have one just use a q-tip. Just go out and buy it plz. 8D
